Eveleigh-Evans British

Eveleigh—Evans collapse the past and the present to explore our common humanity and relationship to nature. Using radical materials from forever chemicals to biomatter they are formulating a language of alchemical minimalism.

Researching across anthropology, ecology, myth, science, and technologies they manifest universal hyper objects (meta instruments) that generate a dialogue bridging culture and history, interrogating collective identity, and what persists in our relationship to the world and each other.

Eveleigh—Evans are an artist duo (David and Melissa Eveleigh-Evans) who met at the RCA in 1998. Working and living together they have a multi-disciplinary practice grounded in deep research and experimentation to find a new sense of hope and magic for the times we live in.
