OPEN CALL

THE TAGLI PHYSICAL SHOW OPEN CALL

Eligibility - UK and EU based artists

Deadline Thursday September 26th 2024, 6pm BST (British Summer Time)

We invite visual artists to submit their work for consideration in an upcoming physical exhibition in Central London this November. This is an opportunity to showcase your practice while exploring the possibility of working with THE TAGLI team and its network. If chosen, your work will be part of an exciting show in one of London’s key art spaces.

BRIEF

This open call seeks artists whose work delves into the multifaceted concept of 'the body' as a site of technological, ethical, and political discourse. We’re looking for submissions that challenge and expand the boundaries of artistic practice, offering new perspectives on how bodies interact with, resist, and are shaped by power structures and technological advancements. From the spatial dynamics of identity and race to the politics of reproduction, gender, and sexuality, this open call invites an exploration of the body in all its forms.

This is a space for artists to critically engage with the visual and conceptual dimensions of bodily experience in the contemporary world. We encourage submissions that push the envelope and offer fresh insights into the complex interplay between bodies, technologies, and power.

We look forward to receiving your application.

Please note we will not accept applications past the deadline. Your application will only be reviewed if all steps of the process have been completed. Please see detailed application process below.
